12/11 Switching on the 2014 Christmas lightning in Barcelona
In less than two weeks, Barcelona will be illuminated with its Christmas lights to begin this festive time. Three hundred streets will switch on their lights to illuminate and give the Christmas touch to the whole city.

Design is an essential element of our hotel. Design is a way of communication, it creates emotions and defines our spaces. The corporate identity of Hotel Omm is nothing without the work of the designer Mario Eskenazi. After his talk at the Brand New Conference, held in Chicago last September, to discuss his work with Tragaluz Group and the city of Barcelona, we dedicate this post in order to explain a little bit more about his figure, so important to us.
29/10 Bulgarian historian Tzvetan Todorov closes the series of Conversations at La Pedrera 2014
The essayist and historian of Bulgarian culture, Tzvetan Todorov, is the last guest to the fifth edition of Conversations at La Pedrera. This event takes places every year at Casa Milà, the most iconic modernist building of Barcelona and where important culture personalities bring together to think over many topics. This year, these conversations have dealt with contemporaneity. Todorov will be in Barcelona next Monday 10th of November.

Jordi Roca, pastry chef of El Celler de Can Roca, takes part on Thursday 30 of October in Manga Fair Barcelona 20th edition, with a presentation about desserts served with sake, the Japanese alcoholic drink par excellence.

Next December 6, Elton John will play in Barcelona as part of his new album ‘The Diving Board’ presentation international tour. The concert will take place at Palau Sant Jordi and the musician will be accompanied by his band.
13/10 Tribute to Carmen Amaya, a Flamenco icon
The Tablao Cordobés pays tribute to dancer Carmen Amaya with the show ‘Carmen, Carmen, Carmen’, which is held in Palau de la Música Catalana. This Flamenco Festival consists of several shows, which began last May and will end on October, dedicated to Carmen Amaya, one of the biggest names in Flamenco dance.
