13/8 A taste of Spain, flamenco at the MEAM
The European Museum of Modern Art (MEAM) organizes for the summer a season of flamenco concerts, called ‘A taste of Spain’. The performance combines flamenco dance and music with the traditional Spanish savours (glass of wine, Manchego cheese and olives). The attendants will have the opportunity to experience the food and the sounds, while they can visit the permanent Art collection ‘Contemporary Art, 21th century’, which is exhibited at the museum.

From July 11 to August 16 it offers a schedule of more than 20 performances, including opera, classic ballet, dance, symphony concerts, chamber music and innovative performances by artists and groups of international prestige. Every July and August the gardens of the Peralada Castle, in the beautiful Empordà region, become the backdrop for the Peralada Castle International Music Festival.
