9/7 Peralada Castel Festival: music in summer nights in Costa Brava
Summer cultural events extend beyond the city of Barcelona. A clear example of that statement is the Festival Castell de Peralada (Peralada Castel International Music Festival), hailed as one of the most emblematic Catalan summer festival. From July 11 to August 16 it offers a schedule of more than 20 performances, including opera, classic ballet, dance, symphony concerts, chamber music and innovative performances by artists and groups of international prestige. Every July and August the gardens of the Peralada Castle, in the beautiful Empordà region, become the backdrop for the Peralada Castle International Music Festival.
