The list of the 50 Best Restaurants in the World was unveiled on Monday April 28 in London, this awards considered the Oscars of the food. These organized by the magazine ‘Restaurant Magazine’ and sponsored by San Peligrino awards aims to provide an annual snapshot of the global dining scene through the feedback of 900 international experts.

The London Guildhall building hosted the presentation ceremony of the list to attend the most prestigious chefs in the world. The brothers Roca, El Celler de Can Roca current number 1 until last Monday. The dreams of being the first lasted a year, but have used those 365 days to act as ambassadors of culture, cuisine, products and earth.

The Spanish cuisine is at the head of the worldwide restoration, with seven restaurants in the top three of them in the top ten 50. The Mugaritz is the number 6 and Arzak is the number 8 on the list.

The Roca brothers received good news to the younger brother, Jordi, as best pastry chef in the world premiere of the year category created this year by the Diners Club World’s 50 Best Restaurants Academy.

The Roca brothers, Joan, Josep and Jordi Roca, are the advisors of Roca Moo, the gastronomic restaurant with a Michelin star in our luxury hotel, Hotel Omm. They are advisers too of Roca Bar, offering a varied and innovative cuisine that highlights suggestions for snacks and tapas, contribution of the Roca’s brothers, as rocadillos.
